House of Henri winning design of minor Spaces of Display
During Highlight Delft, undergraduate students are given a unique opportunity to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship. Within the minor Spaces of Display, three groups of students have prepared an exhibition that will be on display in the Huis van Delft during the festival. The winning design is a project called House of Henri.
The exhibition revolves around TU Delft’s Henri Baudet collection. The students have worked intensively for six months on designing exhibitions. The exhibition during Highlight Delft is the capstone of the minor, which requires them to actually build a physical exhibition. The House of Henri concept was chosen for its powerful execution and appeal.
About the Spaces of Display Minor
The Spaces of Display Minor, part of the Architecture program, allows undergraduate students to design a (small) exhibition space with a fully developed fragment of a building or interior. The minor includes two separate courses: The Design Project and the Tools course. Here, students have the opportunity to unleash their creativity and develop practical skills in designing exhibition spaces.
