where to start

Highlight Festival works with 'festival hubs'. Here you can get all festival info and the map. This is also where you show your ticket and get your festival wristband that will give you access to the Main Expo.

FESTIVAL HUBS

  • The Social Hub

    The Social Hub Delft a Highlight Festival hub, a lively meeting place where artists, students and visitors come together.

    From 17:00, you can scan your ticket and visit the Highlight info point with all your questions. At 17:30, your Highlight Festival route begins: explore the installations and performances inside The Social Hub and throughout Delft. Dive into installations, performances, and robotic encounters just steps away!

    During Highlight Festival, The Social Hub is offering two exclusive food deals.

    In addition to the regular menu, you can enjoy:

    Highlight Lunch Deal – €15
    One drink + one course

    Highlight Dinner Deal – €20
    One drink + one course

    Curious to know what’s included? Look out for the robotic hints in our menu on location.

    Available from Wednesday to Saturday. The kitchen closes at 21:00 (for dining)

    Restrooms are available inside. Walk-ins welcome.

  • Theater de veste

    The foyer of Theater de Veste is one of the beating hearts of Highlight Festival.

    From 17:00, you can have your ticket scanned and visit the Highlight info point. At 17:30, Highlight Festival comes to life.

    The foyer is the perfect starting point for your journey into the future. Take a moment to pause between installations and performances, or end your night here with a drink at the bar.

    Restrooms are available inside the theatre.

  • Vakwerkhuis

    Festival Hub Vakwerkhuis is one of the three festival hubs of Highlight Festival.

    From 17:00, you can have your ticket scanned and visit the Highlight info point for any questions. At 17:30, the festival comes to life, step straight from the café into a world of robots, art and technology.

    Especially for Highlight Festival, the restaurant opens in the evening for drinks and dinner. Alongside the borrelkaart, enjoy the:

    Highlight Burger – €18.50
    Korean fried chicken, kimchi & gochugaru mayo, served with fries & mayo. Veggie option available.

    Burger available between 17:00 - 21:00h.

    Restrooms are available inside. Walk-ins welcome.

  • Your Highlight Festival route begins at one of our three hubs: Theater de Veste, Vakwerkhuis, or The Social Hub.

    From here, you’ll step into the world of robots, art and technology. Tickets can be scanned from 17:00, and Highlight Festival starts at 17:30.

  • All locations are accessible by bike. If you don’t have your own, you can rent an OV bike at Delft station.

  • All locations are easily reachable by public transport (tram, bus, and train).

  • We encourage all Highlight Festival visitors to travel by public transport or by bike as much as possible.

    If you’re driving, the closest parking garage to the festival is Zuidpoort Garage, Zuidwal 14.

    You can also park in one of the nearby paid city garages paid city garages nearby.

  • Accessibility: We want everyone to enjoy the festival! Most locations are accessible for visitors with reduced mobility, though a few spots may be harder to reach. If you have any questions or need a hand, just drop us a line: info@highlightdelft.nl

  • Animals are not allowed inside the venues, except for guide dogs, which are always welcome as long as they wear a guide dog vest.

  • There are plenty of options for food and drinks at the Festival Hubs, or in the city centre of Delft.
